It's Never Too Late

Be a growth-minded woman.

journaling for women
(to feel good in your own skin.)

It's never to late to choose to become a growth-minded woman, or become an even more growth-minded woman... And to reach that beautiful place where you're exquisitely and deliciously comfortable and feelin' good in your own skin!

The innovative program from Holistic Journaling is designed to support you in accomplishing all of that and much more. We'll explore many of the personal traits, elements, and characteristics that led to important self-awareness, self-actualization, self-acceptance, and self-love. These critical things not only help you, but they help your family, community, and the world at large.

Honestly, taking care of you is not selfish.Focusing on self-development and self-growth ultimately makes our world a better place.

Although "self love" is not commonly used in psychology research, psychologists often view self-love as a crucial aspect of well-being. In fact, many regard having positive feelings about the Self as the factor most closely linked to happiness.

Realizing self-acceptance and achieving self love is an integral part of human life. It is inextricably linked with healthy and fulfilling relationships, psychological resilience, and fulfilling self-growth. It also blesses us with better physical and mental health, greater life satisfaction and life balance, and a more positive attitude toward life.

We cannot emphasize enough the significance of self-awareness, self-actualization, self-acceptance, and self-love in our lives. It's essential. Loving and accepting yourself improves relationships, boundaries, and resilience. So, I developed this new series for our 2024-25 season. It's titled "It's Never Too Late (to feel good in your own skin)" because I have an unwavering belief in the limitless potential for personal growth and self-discovery.

Like everything else, we must put in the effort to make it authentic. And I know for certain that journaling is our perfect tool to help us do that.

Self-Acceptance Isn’t Settling — It’s Sanity
(or Still a Work in Progress—And Damn Proud of It)

Wednesday evening
June 25th
7 - 8:30 PM EST
$40 CDN

Find what helps you truly “feel at home” in yourself.

Research suggests that while many women of all cultures still struggle with internalized self-doubt, an increasing number are embracing self-acceptance as a source of empowerment.

Self-acceptance is the foundation of self-love: you can truly love yourself only if you first accept yourself as you are. For women, integrating both concepts is vital.

Let’s get one thing straight: self-acceptance is not about giving up. It’s not about waving a white flag and declaring, “Well, I guess this is as good as it gets.”

Nope.

It’s about reclaiming your energy from the exhausting quest for perfection, ditching the self-loathing hamster wheel, and finally, finally choosing to be on your own side.

In this powerful, 90-minute live workshop, we’ll explore the misunderstood magic of self-acceptance—what it is, what it isn’t, and why every woman needs it as a core life skill (not a luxury or a last resort).

You’ll learn how to turn down the volume on that relentless inner critic, gently peel off the labels you’ve outgrown, and start practicing what I call radical realness: living with compassion, congruence, and unapologetic honesty.

We’ll unpack the 8 core ingredients of real-deal self-acceptance, including:

  • Mindful self-awareness (AKA watching your thoughts without roasting yourself)

  • Self-compassion (because kindness isn't just for other people)

  • Embracing imperfections (perfection is a myth—and frankly, a boring one)

  • Authenticity and congruence (living like you mean it)

  • Unconditional self-worth (yes, you’re enough—even on your worst day)

  • Self-regulation and reframing (new lenses = new life)

  • Perspective-shifting (zoom out and breathe)

This workshop is for every woman who has ever:

  • Waited to feel worthy until she lost weight, got promoted, or pleased everybody

  • Felt like she’s “too much” and “not enough” at the same time

  • Looked in the mirror and sighed instead of smiling

  • Said “I’ll love myself… when…” for far too long

You’ll leave with:

  • A deep, honest look at where you are on your self-acceptance journey

  • 10 transformative exercises you can use anytime (and actually enjoy)

  • A gorgeous journaling guide packed with prompts to go deeper

  • A clearer voice and a softer heart

  • And most of all… the sacred permission to stop performing and start being

This isn’t just a workshop. It’s a reclamation.

Come as you are. Leave with more of who you are.
